07/01/2001 DataTech Solutions Writes Wireless Inventory Management Application for JR Cigars
DataTech Solutions partners with Data Capture Solutions to offer JR Cigars a wireless inventory collection application. JR Cigars a distributor of cigars, tobacco, fine wine and other items is now controlling their inventory with a custom wireless scanning application. JR Cigars had a need to provide a better, more efficient way of inventory collection, when they met Mark Prebis from Data Capture Solutions. JR’s technical team conveyed to DCS that they were looking for an industry collection standard, and something that a child would understand. JR Cigar has a number of items, and in the past had a difficult time reconciling there inventory collection results. DataTech Solutions designed a wireless application that now makes this reconciling a snap. “Confirming every item in real time allows JR’s inventory control team to mark unknown items instantly” said Michael Risich CTO of DataTech Solutions and application architect. JR cigar expects the new inventory control application to save a lot of time, and relief from the hours of training that they previously had to have.
04/20/2001 DataTech Solutions Wins Web Site Development Contract
DataTech Solutions a newly founded application development software solutions company wins GT Automotive Centers web site development contract. "GT Auto is a good site to start with, it is a local Ambler business, that will fuel our growth" said Michael Risich DataTech Solutions CTO. The company plans to target the automotive repair businesses using GT Auto's website (www.gtautocenter.com ). DataTech Solutions plans to have a completed site set for release by June first. "We plan to create an informative site, that will bring potential customers to GT Automotive", added Joseph McClurkin lead developer on the project. "GT is a member of many automotive associations, we plan to attract other members of these associations to traffic more business our way", concluded Michael Risich. GT Automotive is located in Ambler, and operates an automotive, radiator and starter repair shops. They have been serving their ever growing customers since 1980.
